The best parks in Tennessee
With fall weather approaching, now is a great time to get out and experience Tennessee’s natural wonders. And there is no better way to do this than by visiting one of our amazing parks. Here are our top three picks for the best parks in Tennessee.
One of the most-visited parks in Tennessee, and for good reason. The spectacular waterfalls drop 256 feet, and are easily visible from the road and scenic outlook. But beyond the falls, there are tons of great hiking trails, biking, and picnicking opportunities.
This park is a local favorite thanks to its location: near both Land Between the Lakes and Kentucky Lake, which between them offer over 170,000 acres of undeveloped wilderness, plus swimming, boating, and fishing at the lake.
For anglers, Tim’s Ford Lake is considered one of the best bass fishing spots in the country. In addition to the world class fishing, this park has miles of hiking and biking trails, picturesque picnic spots along the lake, and rental pontoon boats.
